Stabilplastik is currently the largest manufacturer of plastic pallets made from mixed recycled plastics in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with more than 25 years of tradition. The company focuses on material recycling of mixed plastics.
The core product is a plastic transport pallet, which has received, among other awards, the Packaging of the Year 2021.
The pallets are used in logistics, helping companies transition to a circular economy and reducing their carbon footprint. Our only input is mixed plastic waste, over 90% of which comes from municipal waste collected in yellow bins. Using zero-waste technology, we transform this waste into durable products that are multiple times more resistant than their substitutes made from primary raw materials. This saves not only primary resources but also considerable costs for our customers related to repairs and purchasing replacement pallets.
The pallets can be marked by stamping or laser engraving (logo, QR codes, EAN codes, etc.). Stabilplastik is also able to process selected plastic waste from its customers and use it in its production. Stabilplastik pallets are certified for indirect food contact. The company recycles its damaged products free of charge for its customers. These are collected from clients at no cost and reused 100% as inputs for the production of new products.
Thanks to cooperation with the company GoPall, we can also offer pallet pooling (operational pallet rental), which requires easily maintainable, maintenance-free, and durable pallets — qualities our pallets meet. Compared to wooden pallets, our pallets have at least 60 times lower carbon footprint and, according to an LCA study, up to 77% lower environmental impact. Each year, we recycle millions of kilograms of plastic waste and save tens of thousands of trees that would otherwise be used to produce wooden pallets. We use our own solar power plant and root wastewater treatment plant for production. Our pallets are fully prepared for the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
Thanks to the durability of the material and construction, Stabilplastik pallets have a lifetime more than 20 times longer than wooden pallets and, in addition to the ecological impact, have a very positive economic impact.
