Salzgitter AG, as the sole shareholder of Klöckner DESMA Elas-tomertechnik GmbH, has appointed Mr. Siegfried Köhler as Managing Director Sales & Service as of October 1. Together with Dr. Michael Zaun, who has been Managing Director for the technical and operational areas since September 1, 2022, Sieg-fried Köhler will lead the company and with him assume re-sponsibility for the four subsidiaries and thus around five hun-dred employees on three continents.

Siegfried Köhler held responsible positions at Piovan for years, where he established sales and service subsidiaries in Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary, among others. He then worked for well-known companies such as Wittmann Battenfeld and Sumitomo Demag, and most recently as Co-CEO in the Frimo Group. Siegfried Köhler is a practitioner and technician with many years of international sales experience in the fields of injection molding machines, special machines, and automation.

Klöckner DESMA Elastomertechnik GmbH is a global manufacturer of injection molding machines, mold- and automation technology as well as complete production cells for the injection molding of silicone and rubber parts for all industries.

Siegfried Köhler is looking forward to working with the team in Fridingen an der Donau as well as with the other sites:
