Ampacet introduces New FRESH+ antifog masterbatch for fresh produce packaging
Ampacet, a global masterbatch leader, has introduced FRESH+ 1032 AF (1001032-E), a new specialty antifog masterbatch for polyethylene flexible applications that offers exceptional slip performance and machinability on packaging equipment.

Specific applications for FRESH+ 1032 AF (1001032-E)  include grocery packaging for washed, pre-cut and ready-to-eat vegetables and fruits.  In this type of packaging, fog and water droplets can form on interior surfaces, affecting shelf appeal and produce shelf life. FRESH+ 1032 AF (1001032-E) provides an attractive shelf appearance while offering excellent machinability, including a low coefficient of friction, for the manufacturing of form, fill and seal packaging.

Ampacet’s FRESH+ 1032 AF (1001032-E) demonstrates excellent antifog performance in barrier and non-barrier single wrap films as well as in laminated film structures and provides outstanding slip properties (COF < 0.25) without the use of a migrating slip additive.
