Domo strengthens its collaboration with ULTRAPOLYMERS Group
Ultrapolymers Spain has gained the exclusive distribution rights for Domo Engineering Plastics in Spain. This appointment is the important step in the strategic growth of Ultrapolymers, which is already distributing the DOMAMID and ECONAMID materials of Domo across Europe (UK, Ireland, Benelux, Germany, ECE and Turkey).
Domenico Lo Curto, Commercial director Europe of Domo Engineering Plastics, stated that: “Ultrapolymers is a trusted and interesting partner for Domo to expand its European distribution activities and market presence. Thanks to commercial expertise and excellent in-house technical knowledge of Ultrapolymers, all needs of the Spanish customers can be met”.
Domo Engineering Plastics offers PA6 and PA66 to the market, both in prime and industrial quality. Besides of the standard unfilled grades, they have a wide range of impact modified, flame retardant, glass filled, mineral filled…grades available. With these materials, various market segments, such as: automotive, E&E, consumer&industrial,… are being served.
Domo Engineering Plastics is part of the Domo Engineering Chemicals division, a chemical company located in Belgium, which has a revenue figure of 850 million euro and 700 employees across Germany, Italy, China and the US. Domo Chemicals puts the focus on the production side of the polyamide materials. To reinforce their position on the market, they have done the acquisition of Aquafil EP.
